Local Student Has Incredible Wrestling Season

Aaron Desabrais has had an incredible wrestling season, as he is a middle school wrestler at Vergennes High School. Aaronjust returned from the Gene Mills Eastern Nationals and he placed 3rd in his division which is quite an accomplishment. Aaron will be leaving for Vienna, Austria on June 23rd as he has been selected to become a member of the U.S.A. "People to People" Wrestling Team. He will be wrestling with and against other wrestlers his age from all over the world, as he will be competing in the Vienna Game. There will be a benefit dance for Aaron on June 9th at the American Legion in Vergennes featuring "Take Two" which will include door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. The cost for him to be able to travel and take part in this incredible opportunity is quite substantial Some of Aarons other accomplishments: 2007 Vermont State Champion 189lbs 6th Place New Englands 2nd Place Bennington Northeast Wrestling Challenge 3rd Place Gene Mills Eastern Nationals
