Geraldine R. Estey

Bristol - Geraldine R. Estey, 90 died Thursday April 26, 2007 at Haven Health Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans after a long struggle with Alzheimer.

    She was born April 17, 1917 in Hinesburg the daughter of Clarence and Bertha Burrit Carpenter.

    She enjoyed many hobbies such as traveling on bus tours, crafts, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and gardening. She was an active member of Libanus Chapter #47 Order of Eastern Star in Bristol.

    She is survived by her granddaughter Bobbi Lynn Estey of Williston; a sister in law Isobelle Parker of Bristol.

    She was predeceased by her husband Wyman E. Estey , her son Judson Estey, a brother Rodney Carpenter, and a sister Hilda May Young.

    Funeral services were held Monday April 30th at Brown McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment was be at Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol. Howard I. Brainerd Jr.

Vergennes - Howard I. Brainerd Jr. 69 died Monday April 23, 2007 at his home in Vergennes.

    He was born November 16, 1937 in Newport the son of Howard and Vivian Chaney Brainerd Sr.

    Predeceased by his wife Rachel Annette Brainerd on February 12, 2006.

    Howard is survived by three daughters, Diana Guillette and fiancé’ Scott Hamilton of Coventry; Lynda and Brian Jones of Derby; Lee and John Karzmarczyk of Vergennes; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Lorraine.

    Friends called at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes on Friday April 27th. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice Route 7 Middlebury, VT 05753.
