                                    Many Thanks
We never know what lies ahead
As we go on our way
And often times there comes the time
                                    A sad and lonely day.

It makes life so much easier
To share your woes with friends
                                    It lessens temporarily
The fear of how it ends.

I have so many friends to thank
For all they’ve done for me
I have a list so very long
                        The end I cannot see

For all the lovely cards and flowers
                                    For al the tender care
I can’t begin to list them all
                        There’s always someone there

The calls from many caring friends
                        They brighten every day
I want to tell each one of you
                        You helped in every way.

To all the doctors I have seen
                                    The kindly nurses, too
And all Home Health and Hospice care
I owe so much to you.

                        So thanks again to everyone
You mean so much to me
I never will forget your love
                                    Wherever I may be.
