DAVID HARLEY CHAMBERLAIN

FERRISBURG - David Harley Chamberlain, 74, died unexpectedly at home on April 5, 2007. He was born on March 27, 1933. in Ferrisburg, son of Harley and Julia Chamberlain.

   He married Ethel Thayer Chamberlain on June 24, 1951. He was predeceased by is wife on January 21, 2006. David Chamberlain was a farmer, entrepreneur, and avid outdoors man. He loved his family, hunting, & fishing. He spent most of his time in the woods. on the lake, and with his family. He was also a founding charter member of the Lake Champlain Walleye Association (LCWA) and the National Farmer's Organization (NFO). He loved a good debate and was always up to a challenge.

   Dave is survived by brothers. Paul Chamberlain and Alan Chamberlain; sisters, Jean Grauberger and Joanne Laberge. He also leaves behind his children: Barbara Chamberlain, Dennis Chamberlain, Nancy Rivait, Bruce Chamberlain, and Larry "Boo" Chamberlain: Grandchildren, Daniel Hunter. Ian, Michael. Mandy, Kyle. Damian. Brandon, and CC Chamberlain.

   Friends may call at the Brown- McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes on Monday, April 9th , from 3 to 6 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. at Brown- McClay  Home in Vergennes on Tuesday, April 10th . Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Ferrisburg. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL!
