VUHS Varsity Basketball

   The Vergennes Commodores defeated the BFA St. Albans Bobwhites in what began as a very close game. In the first quarter, both teams played tough defense, both offenses had difficulty landing shots. The first quarter ended 9-7, Commodores. In the second quarter, Vergennes began to increase their lead, but only slightly. The half finished out 18-12, Vergennes. In the third quarter, the Bobwhites began to close the gap once more, bringing the teams within two points. The third quarter ended 22-20, Vergennes. In the fourth quarter, the Commodores picked up the pace and ended up ahead of St. Albans.  [ more ]


VUHS Cheerleading Champions

   Coach Deb Hall, Asst. Coach Dani Hausler and the Vergennes Varsity Cheerleaders wish to thank all of the parents and grandparents and other family members and friends of the Commodore Mini’s, UVAF Flyers, Middle School, JV and Varsity cheerleaders who volunteered their time to help and support Vergennes Union High School hosting the NVAC Cheerleading Competitions this past Saturday, February 17, 2007.  Special thanks to those community members who volunteered their valuable time even though they did not have a cheerleader, to the staff at VUHS for their hard work in getting the school ready after the “big blizzard” and the Vergennes Booster Club for feeding the 1300 spectators.  [ more ]
