Tigers At Otters... A New Grid Season Begins

    Two very different programs and yet the fan support is loyal and vocal.  That's the way things will shape up as the 2007 Tiger Varsity football team heads down the road for the short trip to Brandon and their first meeting ever with the Otter Valley Union High School Football Team.  OV is a remarkable success story and under Head Coach Dennis Perry, the Otters were able to bring a championship to Brandon in their division and have proven that they can produce quality talented players that can suit up with anyone in any division.  They might not win against the bigger schools on a consistent basis but they will show up and put up some surprising numbers against bigger schools and more experienced programs.

Hannaford Students Build Home

   Top to  Bottom:  Members of Brown’s Crane Service of Bristol secure a section of a modular home with the aid of a large crane on Thursday morning August 30th, 2007.  Members of the Hannaford Career Center Construction Tech class built the modules during their classes over the past year and the entire 3 bedroom Cape will be finished in Bridport.  [ more ]

Nathan Reynolds Carries on Family Business

     Nathan Reynolds is no stranger to the construction business.  He began working for his father, Larry Reynolds of Mt. Abe Construction, when he was only thirteen.  He worked summers for his father and has worked full time for 12 years.   He took a sabbatical for a few years and worked full time for the National Guard, sitting behind a desk.  “That made me realize  I’m not a desk person.  I want to build,” he said.  When Larry decided to close his business, Nathan decided to start his own, Nathan Reynolds and Sons Construction, LLC.
