Women Of Wisdom And Sweet Charity Hit Milestone

It was September 20, 2006 when seven local women gathered at the offices of Mueller, Ryan and Associates located in the Basin Block on Main Street, Vergennes. Present were Liz Ryan, Lynn Donnelly, Patty Paul, Liz Markowski, Liz’s mom, Ann McGrath and Rosemary Mueller. Ryan’s sons had departed for college and prep school that year and she called the gathering with the plan of creating good works of service.

Tigers Fall At Hartford 36-7

Fresh from a win at home the previous week, the MUHS Tiger Varsity football team was on the road and on the hill at Hartford to do Battle with their old nemesis, The Hartford Hurricanes.  The “Canes” were coming off a rare loss at home the previous week to Saint Johnsbury, a team that they had defeated in last falls D1 title game at Rutland.  The match up looked good on paper.  It wasn't.
