Express Care Now Open At Porter Medical Center

The University of Vermont Health Network celebrated the opening of their new Express Care facility on the Porter Campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday evening June 12th 2017.
    Dr. Fred Kniffin,MD Porter CEO and  Dr. Laurie L. Patton PhD, President of Middlebury College cut the official ribbon held in place by Porter Medical physicians, support team and board members.

It will be the end of an era for students at Vergennes Elementary School when school lets out this year. Three generations of many families have learned history, compassion and life lessons from Joe Samaritoni for the past forty-eight years. It was 1969 when Joe and Alice Samaritoni moved from Ohio to Addison County and since that day, students have been challenged, entertained, and have learned more than their share about how history connects us all as citizens of a global community.  [ more ]

   Pam Dodge decided to be a teacher when she was in elementary school. Inspired by one of her reading teachers, Dodge took joy from every book and fun project that followed. She has strived to do the same and inspire lifelong readers in her classroom for the past thirty seven years.
