Remembering Roger Desabrais

Over the past 44 years, we at The Valley Voice have been privileged to work with business and civic leaders who have become exceptional community partners and friends with our weekly community newspaper.  Our publication could not have enjoyed the longevity we've been blessed with, without their encouragement and support.  We lost one of those special longtime friends this past week when we learned of the passing of our good friend Roger Desabrais. Roger passed away on February 5th 2017 after a courageous battle.

DAR Dinner For Vietnam Veterans

The Seth Warner-Rhoda Farrand Chapter of the DAR recently held a luncheon at the American Legion Post #14 in Vergennes celebrating the men and women representing all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces who served in the Vietnam War by passing out Valentines and sharing both a meal and a prayer.
