Sharing Memories With Little City Barber Dave Larrow

There are very few people in any town that can have a conversation that includes four generations of customers, but Dave Larrow is one of these few. Coming to the Little City in 1970, Larrow was already well into a career as a barber and quickly established his presence on Main Street and in the hearts of generations. With no actual guess as to the numbers of people who have sat in his chair over the years, Larrow does acknowledge that he knows of several families that he is on his fourth generation.  With a quick wit, a genuine love of people and a work ethic that saw few days off in the past fifty years, Dave Larrow simply explains that he loves what he does and he thanks the customers who have allowed him the privilege of doing it for so long.  [ more ]

Growing A Vision Meet Bill And Sara Fuller And Staff Of Middlebury Transport Group

It was July 1, 2002 when Bill Fuller started a new second career. He had a vision of creating his own niche in the marketplace and bringing together his years of working with people and his passion for adventure. Fuller purchased one vehicle and launched a personalized transportation company, not to be confused with a taxi service or a public transportation network, Middlebury Transportation Group is Vermont’s largest limousine and car service with bases of operations in Middlebury, and offices in Stowe and Burlington.  Bill and Sara Fuller, along with an experienced staff of dispatchers, reservation and sales specialists, chauffeurs and support staff operate Middlebury Transit, Burlington Limousine and Car Service and Vermont Chauffeured Transportation. What started with one vehicle has grown annually to include a diverse fleet of twenty five different vehicles in the fleet and employees thirty six across the Champlain Valley and the state.

Denecker Chevrolet Is Open For Business And Expanding It’s Middlebury Dealership

A new look is underway at Denecker Chevrolet on Route 7 South in Middlebury. Gone is the old showroom and offices of the former Shea Motors Co. In it’s place will rise a new two story 23,000 square foot “State of the art” facility. Temporarily the showroom and sales department is relocated into the existing parts and service department.  [ more ]
