Holiday Magic At Henry Sheldon Museum

An invitation to view the art of some talented Christmas Tree designers and an opportunity to bid on one or more to own for your very own.  It's just the beginning of a Holiday visit to the Henry Sheldon Museum from now until January 9th.  Follow up a tree view and bid with a visit to the 2015 Train Exhibit and witness model railroading at its best from the Midd-Vrmont Train Club.  Pictured, a Lionel locomotive pulls into town at dusk as lights begin to glow in the small village which seems to be hosting a Winter Carnival.  Next is a macro-look at a tiny sign on a Christmas tree, up for bid, featuring a fishing theme and some sage angler philosophy.  This is the 24th year of the train display.  The museum would like to thank financial underwriters: Macy's, Middlebury Rotary and Sheldon Members & Annual Fund Donors for their support.

Folklife Center Gingerbread Art 2015

The 2015 Vermont Folklife Center's ginger bread art display, which will continue through December 22nd. This year's theme is Digital Folklore; Emoji, Rainbow Unicorns and Lol cats.  As people get creative with the worldwide and electronic communication as inspiration.  It's a Middlebury “must see” at Christmas.
