Peace One Day Interactive Program Marks 11th Year Of Student Involvement

Peace One Day (POD) has been a student run event for eleven years at VUHS and is marking the 11th year of celebration. The POD committee is comprised of Aly Gebo, Tyler Kepes, Julia Johnson, Nick Lareau, Nora Hubbard, Aaron Gains, Max Ratti, Emma Gardener, Orion Chaput, Shay Pouliot, Alyssa M., Caroline Johnston, Tyrell M., Nora Hatch, Nora D., Megan Rooney, Aliya Hugo, Emma Husk, Hannah Wyman, Jeffrey Stearns, Eric Stolen and Emma Beauchemin, and set out this year to celebrate the September 21st International Cease Fire Day with the creation of a photograph comprised of over 400 students forming a peace sign

A Walk With Heart Join In And Meet Payton Jones

The facts are somber and shocking. One of every four deaths in America which equals over 600,000 people are from heart conditions and statistics prove it is equally prevalent for both men and women. The 2009 American Heart Association statistics show that more than half of all deaths in America for men were caused by heart conditions. Heart disease and heart attacks are not specific to any age, gender or ethnic background and in fact every year over 700,000 Americans have a heart attack. Over 500,000 of those people have their first attack and the other 200,000 plus learn that they have already suffered an attack they may not have been aware of.

The Ohana Team from Middlebury Union Middle School hosted the Donate & Dance to fund enrichment opportunities in the school and to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vt.

Tigers 4th Quarter Rally Stops Colchester 18-14 Trey Kaufmann Has Break-out Game

The undefeated MiddleburyTigers, 3-0, traveled to Colchester (2-1) to take on the Lakers Friday evening last. This shaped up to be a good one and it was. The Tigers have shown improvements  with each passing week and were ready to take on Colchester at the home of the Lakers. The Colchester fans were out in force. With most of them dressed in “Laker Blue”, the game had a  play-off atmosphere.
